WO vs. LT

You can fly as a LT. You won't get near as much flight time as a Commissioned Officer once you hit CPT. Depends on how long in your career you actually want to be a full time pilot. I'm thinking forever! Hooah!

joking aside i really want to be in the aviation division of the army. dad was artillery, gramps was AF airplane repair so me flying Apaches seems like a good mix.

Like Sgt Lawson said. You can be either. His statement about the flight time is correct as well. Hope this helps!
