Looking for advice from experince...
I am not, nor ever been in any Armed Forces branch, but have always wanted to fly with the best. I currently have a private pilots liscense, am 26 yrs old and am looking at my options for possibly being apart of the apache team. I have a history of dreaming big, and will always do what it takes to succeed in all opportunities. I currently own 2 businesses but have no college degree, I am very healthy and received my pilots license with only 43 hrs of total flight time, which as you probably know is 3 hrs above FAA minimum. Just looking for the appropriate steps that I need to take to start my exploration in flying with the best. If anyone is willing to point me in the right direction, please let me know. Thank you for your time and patience.

Right Track
Hey man..sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. Since your not already in the army you will have to go through your local army recruiter. The recruiter should schedule your ASVAB, Flight Aptitude Test, Flight Physical and everything you will need to do. The packet is a pain. The best advice i can give is "Be Persistent!" I'm not sure what the acceptance rate is for civilian applicants, but you will never know until you try. Your second choice would be to join enlisted and apply as an active duty applicant once you finished your training. The packet is a little different, but other than that its very similar. There is more slots for soldiers already on active duty than for civilian applicants. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
GOOD LUCK!
